Thanks for checking out TestToob. We hope you will consider us partners in bringing science alive for your students. We know you’re as busy – or busier – than that proverbial paperhanger. That’s why we are not trying to add anything to your workload. What we do hope to add is another tool for teaching.

Letting students video the experiments your class is already doing can add new up-to-date interest to their education.

• While videoing their work and playing it back, they learn that the process of their experiment was as important as the result – a vital step for anyone who wants to become a scientist.
  
  
• Hands-on science is a learning method that has proved to be highly effective. It keeps students’ attention and videoing that process gives it even more status.
  
  
• Lots of kids respond to competition and even more respond to praise. On TestToob they can find both. If experiments are put on the public part of the site, youth from all over can rate their success. The best will be honored with praise and/or prizes.
  
  
• There is also plenty of room for innovation. If you give extra credit, what could be easier than viewing how your students’ do an experiment from your computer? All you’ll need to do is sign on to see what they’ve done on their own. What could be quicker?
  
  
• TestToob is a safe, monitored site. All experiment videos uploaded are reviewed by our staff before posting to the community.
  
  
• Post videos of your experiments for students who are absent from class and they’ll be able to stay up with the rest of your students.
